Master of Science Admission, Degree Requirements & Application Deadlines
Those students who have completed their four-year degree (or U.S. bachelor's degree equivalent) in engineering, math or science are eligible to apply for a master's degree.

Application Checklist
- Application for Graduate Admission
- Application Fee payment (non-refundable)
- Official transcript from Bachelor's Degree Granting Institution (if possible, sent directly from the degree granting instiution). If from a non-U.S. institution, transcripts should be for your B.S. degree equivalent.)
- Official transcripts from All Other College Attended (if possible, sent directly from the colleges).
- A report of your scores on the GRE General Test
- Any supplemental application materials that may be required by the department. Please refer to the department websites for more information.
International Applicants Only
- A report of your score on the TOEFL (if English is not your first language)
- The International Student Confidential Financial Statement of Support (if you plan on bringing family members with you, be certain to complete that section of the form)
- A photocopy of the first two pages of your passport
Application Review
The length of time it takes for an application to be reviewed varies by department and degree program. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. It is not possible to provide a specific time line. As soon as your application package is complete, it is sent to the graduate committee for review. Once a decision is made, an official decision letter will be sent to you.
