USC Stevens Institute for Innovation serves as the critical interchange between engineering research and the commercial world. The Stevens Institute provides a dynamic interface between USC engineers and corporate partners with a full range of consulting services, from market analyses to third party investor introductions. As the first ever engineering school commercialization center, the Stevens Institute brings solutions from the lab to society.

We envision engineering at USC as a powerful engine for making a better world in the 21st century. To realize this vision, we must have faculty and students who are capable of engaging in research of the highest caliber and of connecting with colleagues in industry and venture capital to address real-world problems through technology transfer and commercialization. Our ambition is to create a culture and an environment that will enable our faculty and students to excel in both realms.
