Dynamics and Control

Dynamics & Control is a cross-cutting area of research gaining considerable momentum in the School. Currently, more than 30 faculty are involved with projects in this area, which include such diverse aims as: designing earthquake/wind dampening systems for buildings and bridges, creating ecological models for lakes and rivers, improving control systems for aircraft, and routing highway traffic more efficiently.
